In South Miami, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across Florida vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.
Hours have not been published for this listing yet. Most businesses of this type in South Miami keep standard business hours, but call ahead to be sure, especially on weekends and holidays. You can reach Auto Technik Vintage at (305) 663-3352; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, autotechnikvintage.com.
Its Google rating is 4.2 out of 5 from 6 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.
South Miami is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and South Miami follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I had an excellent experience with Auto Technik Vintage. They performed a complete electrical and mechanical refresh on my Backdraft Racing Cobra and the quality of the work was outstanding. The team replaced and upgraded multiple components, including the gauges, switches, horn, wiper motor assembly, dashboard indicators, battery, and other electrical systems. They also completed a thorough mechanical inspection and service, ensuring the car was reliable and ready to drive. What impressed me most was their attention to detail, knowledge of classic and specialty vehicles, and commitment to doing the job correctly rather than taking shortcuts. Communication was clear throughout the process, timelines were respected, (they are not the fastest one) and the workmanship exceeded my expectations. If you own a classic car, restomod, Cobra replica, or any specialty vehicle and are looking for a shop that genuinely understands these cars, I highly recommend Auto Technik Vintage. Thank you to the entire team for helping bring this car to the next level.

I left a deposit to restore a car here with Mr. Milton Gusmao, in 2010, once he received the car and deposit for $5k, he said that he would finish the car in a year, and bill me accordingly. Till this day the car remains untouched, it is 04/06/2013 and nothing has been done. Please be very careful doing business here.
